MAS 90/200 Master Developer

In the late 80's, Best Software, Inc. created the Master Developer program which allows certified Authorized Resellers access to the MAS 90/200 source code. By having access to the source code, certified developers can make modifications to existing modules as well as develop additional modules.

Master Developers are trained by Best Software, Inc. and are required to pass a test showing competence before becoming certified. Once certified, a Master Developer is required to pay an annual licensing fee to continue receiving source code and application updates.

There are currently about 7000 MAS 90/200 Resellers - only 110 of them are Master Developers.
